This important development further strengthens our long-standing commitment to Australian manufacturing while supporting our continued expansion into the agricultural sector. 99K raised for Ovarian Cancer Research

Only $792 to reach our goal of $100,000 in donations for the Ovarian Cancer Research foundation in 2019.

 Through combined efforts with the very generous earthmoving industry, Digga Australia together with Kanga Loaders, so far, we’ve been able to raise over 99K. 

 The fundraising started in March when we sponsored and helped organise the Diesel Dirt and Turf Expo Golf Day. Over 30K was raised through charity auctions and the generosity of everyone involved. This was followed by the donation of a Kanga Loader which was auctioned off at the DDT Expo in May. In June we donated a second machine which was auctioned at the Hire 19 tradeshow in Melbourne in June. Finally, a few dedicated Digga employees participated at the Bridge to Brisbane Charity run last month, where another $3,740 was raised in donations.

 The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation was chosen as a partner charity of Digga, a foundation dedicated to developing and implementing an early detection program and improving the mortality rate, management and long-term survival of women with ovarian cancer. As the company suffered a big loss in June 2018, when Suzie Wright, CEO and Managing Director of Digga Australia and Kanga Loaders, passed away after a long struggle with a rare form of ovarian cancer, this is a very close cause to our hearts.

Having trouble operating your Digga bucket broom? There are a few tips and tricks when it comes to brush adjustment & height, rotation direction and the broom emptying procedure. We've summarised them for you below. Direction of travel and brush rotation Always sweep at a high enough brush speed and low ground speed to effectively discharge the material being swept. Brush height adjustment Remove the handle pin, twist the handle, and replace the pin. Re-adjust the axle to the correct height using both handle adjusters. Return handles to their original position. Correct Brush Height Set the height of the brush so the bottom of the brush is approximately 30mm lower than the bucket cutting edge. The brush must be level. How to Replace DR Auger Rock Picks (Dedicated Rock Augers)

Rotating rock picks, are the auger teeth used on our Digga dedicated rock augers (DR) for drilling from soft rock to hard fracturable rock. Here are some things you can observe to determine whether the rock picks are worn: The teeth need to rotate while drilling to maintain an efficient cutting tip. The tungsten tip and tooth should be evenly pointed. Poorly maintained teeth reduce cutting efficiency and wear out faster costing time and money. We recommend you replace worn teeth immediately! Tip: the outside teeth (C) will wear the fastest as they are travelling the greatest distance so will need replacing more often. Try swapping the outer tooth for an inner tooth to keep the wear even. Always use your best teeth on the outside pockets. Here are some examples or rotating rock picks in various states of wear.
